Every Cat Can Scat Zoom workshops.
Presenting the latest recipe from Dori’s Kitchen. Along with four other singers, you’ll learn how to tap into your inner composer and improvise like an instrumentalist.
Format:
- Five singers participating, plus observers
- The workshop will be conducted via a secure Zoom meeting
- Two-and-a-half hour workshop
Dates and Times
Sign up for one of the following sessions:
- Saturday May 23, 2pm – free Intro to Scatting session
- Saturday May 30, 11am – 1:30pm. Work one-on-one with Dori
- Saturday May 30, 3pm – 5:30pm. Work one-on-one with Dori
What to expect as a participant on May 30
Each participant will get approximately 25 minutes of one-on-one instruction. Be sure to either attend or watch a recording of the Intro to Scatting Session, taking place on Saturday May 23 at 2pm. It will be conducted on Zoom and you’ll receive a link. This preparatory session will give you plenty to work on prior to the May 30th workshop.
After you participate in the May 30 workshop, you’ll receive a link to the video of the entire session. This link will only be shared with the participants.
Equipment you need: Laptop, desktop, tablet or phone is needed. A microphone is ideal but not required. After you sign up, we’ll follow up to optimize your setup with whatever you have. Whatever you have, we’ll make it work!
